Edis Chocolates & Bakery began not as a business plan, but as a devotion to craft.
More than three decades ago, Edis Rezende left Brazil and found herself in Austin, Texas. In a new place, chocolate making became both a comfort and a way to connect with others. What started at a local farmers market quickly grew into a name people returned to—not for novelty, but for consistency, care, and the unmistakable quality of something made by hand.
In 2011, the shop opened its doors in Northwest Hills, where it still lives today.
Today, Edis works side by side with her daughter, Livia. With a background in nutritional science and a natural eye for refinement, Livia brings a thoughtful evolution to the work—balancing tradition with fresh perspective.
Together, they create with intention: one batch at a time, one recipe at a time. Edis Chocolates & Bakery is not defined by trends or speed. It is defined by time, craft, and the people behind it.
